I have a solution where I need to find references to Custom Functions in one file across all of my solution files. The Functions section of InspectorPro works correctly for 3rd Party Functions when I click the 'Ref' shortcut on a Custom function, nothing happens. Is this expected behavior?

James Gilltag:beezwax.tenderapp.com,2010-10-12:Comment/447438382018-02-16T19:24:35Z2018-02-16T19:24:36ZCustom Function References

Mac

Hello James Gill!
We’re looking into this issue, could you let us know a few things to
help us troubleshoot:
1) Mac or Windows
2) What OS version
3) What FileMaker Advanced version are you using to generate the DDR,
and what version are you working in?
4) What version of InspectorPro are you using?
Thanks again!

Just navigate to the Custom Functions section from the Dashboard.

And then click on the reference count … that should get you what you are looking for.

BTW - custom functions are not like Fields … so you will only see custom functions that are in one file ONLY referenced in that file… they won’t cross over to other files.

Let me know if this answers your question.

Best

That’s what’s not working correctly…clicking the reference count does nothing for Custom Functions. For example, I have a Custom Function that has a reference count of ‘6’. For External Functions, a new window opens, but

Custom Functions nothing happens. Will it display a reference number for external references?

Thanks,

To be clear.

Are you looking in the Custom Functions Section or under the Functions section. Under the functions section it doesn’t work.

Also what version of InspectorPro are you using?
