Can I assume then that this functionally is supported and that there is something wrong with my setup?

Hello Andreas!

We’re looking into this issue, could you let us know a few things to help us troubleshoot:

1) Mac or Windows 2) What OS version 3) What FileMaker Advanced version are you using to generate the DDR, and what version are you working in? 4) What version of InspectorPro are you using?

Thanks again!

InspectorPro relies on the database name as part of the information to determine if something is different.

In the current shipping version there is no way to compare 2 analysis if the databases have different names.

I’ll look into ways that we could accomplish this in the future.

Thanks

I can do a replace in the XML files before importing as a workaround.

You might not need to do that… maybe just chasing the file names to the original ones should be enough and save you some effort.

That you could have some sort of mapping … you see File A but you want to compare it to File B.

If you knew before you process the next DDR. That would save you some processing time.

I’ll see what I can think up for this. But it would be up to you to map them as we could not assume anything.

When I need to do such comparisons, I already know which files I am going to compare when I generate the DDR's so I can "pair" them in such an interface without problem.

Trying to make it the most intuitive is the hard part ;)
